At the temperature multiplexer TAMP8-G3 up to 8 PT100 sensors can be connected. These are operated as a 2-wire with 1.5 mA constant current.
By a master control, one of the 8 inputs can be selected and as set an analog signal at the output of AA (4..20 mA). The active input is selected using 3 binary coded address bits according to the formula:
input channel = 4 * bit2 + 2 * bit1 + 1 * bit0
The connections are made via plug-in screw terminals up to max. 1.5 mm².
TAMP8-G3 is contactless and maintenance free.
